Scott Sylvester to Lead
Business Development in Iowa City
IOWA CITY, IOWA, October 1, 2010 - Scott Sylvester, has been named Director of Business Development for the Iowa City office of Knutson Construction Services.
Scott will be managing all business development activities for the Iowa City branch operation. His primary focus will be strengthening professional relationships and growing business in core commercial market segments such as healthcare, office, and retail, as well as expanding services in the industrial and manufacturing niche markets. “Scott’s extensive commercial and industrial development background combined with his knowledge of the local market area make him a perfect fit for the business development position”, said Darin Knapp, Knutson's Vice President.
Sylvester, an Eastern Iowa native, graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1986 and has nearly 25 years of experience in various sales development, management and training positions. Most recently, he served as a Vice President of Business Development with Fagen Inc. and prior to that was Director of Business Development with The Weitz Company.
