What's great about working in construction: Being able to watch and be involved in the entire construction process from design through construction . . . utilizing the services of a building that you had a part in building (i.e. hospitals/schools).
Knutson's culture: Passionate, proud, dynamic.
Greatest passion outside of work: Spending time with my wife and 3 children. Hunting, fishing, golfing, camping and most sports.
Key job skill: Communication - effective communication is the most important component of success in all aspects of life.
Hidden talent: I am the current holder of the “Greatest Chili North of the Iowa Border” trophy. My chocolate chip cookies are even better though.
Clients value: Trust. Construction projects can be intimidating for many people so clients need to trust that we are looking out for their best interests and guiding them through unfamiliar territory.
Co-workers value: Recognition. It makes us all feel good when our hard work is acknowledged, especially when it is done in a way that validates that what we do has value to others.
