Home to the University of Iowa Foundation and Alumni Association, the Levitt Center provides a compelling locale for promotional events, including fund raising, outreach and recruitment. In addition to playing a functional role in the success of the Foundation and University, the building is a highly visible gateway, or welcoming point, for the entire campus.

The architecture and design of Levitt Center exemplify an institution that sets demanding standards for the quality and impact of its educational mission. Knutson was responsible to translate those philosophies into a product that communicates the University's commitments. And that, from the very start of the project, required managing the varied interests and high levels of detail that accompany a building of such central importance.

Today, the Levitt Center is more than a striking, architecturally complex showcase for the University of Iowa's mission. It stands for what is possible when the standard for applying quality, partnership and professionalism is simply to deliver "the best of the best."
