In the interest of saving money and accelerating the construction process, the Iowa State of Board of Regents agreed to an unusual plan for constructing the campus’ new University Services Building. Historically, University building projects were taking two to four years from concept to move-in. But under the management of Knutson Construction, the new University Services Building was completed - from foundation to move-in - in just under a year.

This building houses services such as payroll, maintenance, human resources and others. These services that once were scattered over a wide area of campus, are now centralized in the new three-story office building.
