Bamber Valley Elementary School

Bamber Valley Elementary School IAQ and Renovation project was the Rochester School District’s most aggressive project in the history of the District. Knutson Construction and ISG were challenged with managing $15M worth of MEP and finish work from June 3rd, 2019 to August 12th, 2019. This included replacement of all the MEP systems, new Chiller and new roof top units, new boilers and a updated fire suppression system. Interior finishes include new ADA accessible bathrooms throughout the building, new secure entrances, all exterior doors were replaced, new fire alarm and severe fire alarm system, the entire school was remodeled to a Deaf and Hard of Hearing school standards. In addition to the internal and MEP improvements, exterior site work, parking and sidewalks were completed along with building exterior water proofing improvements. Upon completion of the project, the total project costs yielded $200K less than the original budget.
