Century High School Pool Addition

Century High School, located in Rochester, recognized the need to build out a new swimming pool for athletic and recreational usage amongst students and community members. A referendum approved $9.5 million dollars to construct a pool at Century, as well as make upgrades to a different high school pool and repurpose several other schools' pool spaces. Knutson was hired as the Construction Manager Agency to represent the district and manage their budgets, ensuring all children would have an opportunity to learn to swim in Rochester.

In December 2022, the Century High School pool addition was completed. It included an attached locker room which also doubled as a storm shelter capable of withstanding winds up to 250mph, ensuring student safety and efficient usage of space.
