Lake Country School Renovation and Addition

The LCS Board of Trustees conducted thorough financial modeling and assessed the risks of moving forward with this work. They evaluated whether or not this project supports the mission, vision, and values of Lake Country School. Given all of these considerations and considerable discussion, the board voted unanimously to move forward with construction in the spring of 2021!

The main parts of this project included:
- New entrance that is more welcoming and safer
- Gathering and meeting spaces, along with an interior courtyard
- Innovation lab on the new 3rd floor
- New research center and material making room
- New staff room, conference rooms, wellness coordinator office, and administrative offices
- Reconfigured cafeteria and more extended day space
- New elevator
- Space for future renovations
