University of Iowa Psychological and Brain Science Building

The project consists of a 64,000 SF addition to the east end of the existing Spence Laboratories of Psychology Sciences at the east campus of the University of Iowa and consists of a mix of offices, dry laboratories, collaboration space, classrooms and student work areas. In addition to the academic areas, the new building adds curb appeal with architectural stairs and bench seating along Iowa Avenue to the south where there was only a parking lot before. There is a receiving area with multiple levels to accommodate the split-level basement for deliveries.
