UMN Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain
Knutson was selected for the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain Facility for the University of Minnesota in December 2019. HGA and Knutson were originally selected to provide the pre-design report for this $27M project and carried our partnership through a competitive Design-Build RFP process.
The project includes remodeling 115,000 square feet of the existing Shriners Hospital in Minneapolis. This new institute for the University of Minnesota combines clinical and research teams in one location while researching children’s brain health, especially within the first 1,000 days of life.
