Dakota Middle School Project Receives MNSHARP Award

Congratulations to the Rochester Public Schools Dakota Middle School project team on receiving the MNSHARP safety award. This is the first time this award has ever been received by any construction project in Rochester. Learn more about the award here: KIMT3 News

MNSHARP Construction is a Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration program that recognizes major-construction companies working together to develop safety and health programs that go beyond basic compliance with all applicable OSHA standards, resulting in immediate and long-term prevention of job-related injuries and illnesses.

“To me, the MN SHARP award represents a commitment that all construction workers made on day one of the project, and that was to work safely throughout all phases of construction, allowing everyone to go home safe at the end of the day. Knutson and the District made that commitment on day one and our trade partners immediately jumped on board. This attitude also directly aligns with our “Zero Incident Safety Program”.  We are so proud to be part of the first project in Rochester to officially be accepted into the MN SHARP program.
