Precision

On a sweltering July day in Benson, MN, Knutson scheduled a critical 1:00 a.m. concrete pour for the first large-scale poultry litter power plant in the country. This required 3,500 cubic yards of concrete be put in place in one pour, involving four pump trucks each pouring 500 yards per hour. With zero tolerance for movement and the need for absolute precision, the nighttime project prevented high concrete temperatures and ensured the integrity of the structure.
