Sean Dols

Sean has been a valuable member of the Knutson team since he first joined as a Carpenter Apprentice in 1987. In his time at Knutson, he has become a key contributor to the company’s successes in safety performance, employee development, operational excellence, trade services (self-perform work), positive company culture, and risk management. After working on projects of all types in all of Knutson’s key market areas, he is a well-rounded asset to both the Leadership Team as well as Knutson’s field employees.

Dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure work environment while also providing exceptional customer service, Sean strives for perfection and has an eye for detail, which is crucial in his work. He also loves facing challenges head-on, believing they drive him to work harder at problem-solving to the benefit of all involved. His favorite part of his job is being a mentor to others, as he finds watching his colleagues grow in their roles to be wholly rewarding.

Outside of work, Sean values family time above all else. Whether his family is hanging at the lake or traveling to visit close relatives in the southern United States, he spends a large amount of his free time with his children and grandchildren, who are the center of his world. A retired volunteer fireman, Sean lives in southeast Minnesota.
