Steve Ellis

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Steve is responsible for the accounting and finance, legal and risk management operations of the company, including the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Steve provides Knutson with outstanding management skills, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to solve problems.

An active member of the leadership team, Steve participates in key decision-making conversations as well as targeting financial and strategic plan goals for the organization. He works closely with the HR team to oversee employee benefit plans, specifically focused on maximizing cost-effective and competitive packages. Steve also focuses on implementing operational best practices and ensuring standardized processes are in place and applicable to the operations teams.
