Negotiated General Contractor
9 acres and 12 buildings
One of the most distinctive structures in the Twin Cities, this complex — built in 1973 — was in dire need of infrastructure upgrades to improve energy efficiency and reduce exorbitant utility expenses. This project required sensitivity due to its standing as a historic structure. Improvements included replacing the roof, repainting the building facade and other general site improvements. Interior work included replacing piping, hydronic heat pipe and fan coil replacement, boiler upgrades and the conversion of 56 units into handicap-accessible apartments.
