This project consisted of a 60 acre site including an eight lane receiving area, truck scale, a husking and sorting system, husk chopping and load-out, dryers, handling and conveyor systems, shelling systems, bulk seed storage facilities, and conditioning systems. The conditioning systems included cleaning, sizing, color sorting, gravity sorting, seed coating system, packaging systems, and 150,000 square foot warehouse with six dock bays and a shipping office. The expanded facility is designed to process 900,000 bushels of seed corn per year at a peak rate of 2000 bushels per hour.
