Women’s Employee Resource Group

Minneapolis, MN – 03/26/21

Knutson has recently formed a Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) to identify and eliminate barriers that may exist in the field, office, and beyond. This group aims to identify resources that ensure our female employees feel assured, inspired and appreciated – both at Knutson and in the greater construction industry.

In March, the group kicked-off their first session by hosting keynote speaker Jean Kane, CEO of Colliers Minneapolis-St. Paul. One of the most important things to Jean is creating a welcoming culture that embraces diversity and a variety of viewpoints.

Each quarter, the Women’s ERG will meet to network, host keynote speakers, and discuss topics facing women in construction. The Women’s ERG provides time and space for women across the company to connect outside of our daily work functions and locations, as well as elevate diverse perspectives and ideas that can positively impact The Knutson Experience.

Celebrating Women In Construction Week (March 7-13, 2021)

In March we had the opportunity to celebrate the annual Women in Construction Week on our social media platforms by profiling a few employees that are making a difference every day at Knutson. Not just during WIC week, but every day, Knutson celebrates the strong women of Team Blue. We want to thank all of the women of Team Blue for their commitment and dedication to the work that they do for our clients, project partners, and Knutson.
